If you have always dreamed of writing a book, fiction or non-fiction, but don’t know where to start or if you have started a book but aren’t sure how to proceed, this course is for you. As your development coach, I provide the structure needed to tell your story in a cohesive, ordered manner that is directed to your audience.
We meet for a total of 20 hours on Zoom, where you and the other participants will discuss any obstacles that have emerged and take turns reading each other’s chapters. This helps determine which parts of your story need to be expanded on or reworked.
I also post the Zoom sessions on Google Drive for your reference and other materials that help you through the process.
Creating Your Story from Start to Finish in 10, 2-Hour Online Workshop Sessions
At the start of each class, we discuss the “aha” moments or obstacles that have gotten in your way. Then you will read each other’s materials and critique them. I will have read your chapters in advance (if provided earlier enough) and will give you my thoughts on them prior to class. I will also post everything on Google Drive.
